Brand management is a highly popular area of marketing within Consumer Goods - which also makes it highly competitive.

Brand Managers are typically responsible for managing all aspects of a brand, with commercial responsibility for the P&L, progressing to more strategic roles at a senior level, developing and managing teams.

It's common for Brand Managers to have started their career from either an internship or graduate scheme, and progress through from Assistant Brand Manager up to Marketing Director and beyond.
