Senior Category Manager (6m FTC) - FMCG Food

A leading FMCG business with some of the UK's best known foods brands is currently searching for a Senior Category Manager for a 6 month FTC. This is a key role in the business where you'll be responsible for the strategy and key category partnership with the most important retail customer.

This is a strategic and customer facing role and you will be providing the sales and marketing teams with regular insights on opportunities within the market.

Key Responsibilities will include

• Building and sustaining key retail relationships

• Using insight to influence merchandising and range plans at category reviews

• Provide detailed analysis and insights on category opportunities

• influence key internal and external stakeholders

• Work with the internal teams to support Customer and Shopper Marketing activities

The ideal candidate will have gained category insight/management experience within a recognised FMCG manufacturer and will be ambitious enough to take the next step in their career by joining a progressive FMCG company at a full Senior Category Manager level position.

You must be able to demonstrate the ability to develop category relationships with a retailer, participate in range reviews, promotional planning and developing rationale for new listings.

Salary: £65,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

Based in Berkshire, very close to West London. The UK head office has excellent transport links on National Rail Overground and is approximately 15 mins from Central London.
