Our client is one of the UK's leading premium food manufacturers. The category is evolving and there is an abundance of opportunity for innovation. In order to capitalise on this opportunity the business requires a passionate foodie who can work closely with category & market insight to generate actionable insight, to be used in turn to create compelling category stories to maximise their presence in-store.
The business is growing strategically into niche, high-growth categories with a number of exciting acquisitions over the past 12 months. The focus is on delivering best-in-class innovation into the premium food categories, both branded and own-label, and the Category Insight team play a key role from concept generation through to getting the products onto the shelves in-store.
You will provide insight and analysis across a number of exciting food categories, using data from various sources to provide recommendations that to optimise the category performance.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Strong relationship building skills with internal and external stake holders eg customer and supplier contacts
- The ability to segment analysis by customer, brand, category, channel to understand and drive category performance
- Experience in working with continuous (eg Kantar, Dunnhumby) or adhoc market and consumer data
- Experience of working with quantitative and qualitative data sources
Salary: £40,000 + £Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits
