Senior Category Manager - Ireland & Out of Home
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strategic and insightful Senior Customer Category Manager to join a leading global confectionery business. This role will focus on managing the Irish market channels and UK Out of Home (Hospitality, Petrol and Travel) and Traditional Trade (Convenience, High Street and Wholesale).
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive category performance analysis, providing deep understanding of market, shopper, and consumer trends
 - Develop joint category plans with customers, influencing new product development and identifying new category segments
 - Lead range reviews and implement major changes within store aisles
 - Manage customer period category reporting and monitor continuous category performance
 - Execute innovation strategies across selected categories, crafting compelling customer category sell-in stories
 - Build and nurture customer category relationships, fostering closer partnerships with key stakeholders
 
The Ideal Candidate:
We're seeking a proactive professional with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. The successful candidate will have experience working with various data sources (e.g., Nielsen, Circana, Kantar) and a solid understanding of category management fundamentals. Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills are essential, as is the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Location: London - 3 days office / 2 days home
Package: £65,000 + Bonus + Benefits
