An exciting opportunity has arisen for a National Account Executive to join a leading, award-winning food company suppliying major UK retailers and foodservice customers with both own-label and branded offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow sales across new and existing retail and non-retail accounts
- Identify and secure new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer contacts across various functions
- Collaborate with internal teams on procurement, stock management, and marketing initiatives
- Deliver best-in-class customer presentations using market data and insights
- Manage and report on sales and contract balances
The Ideal Candidate:
We're seeking an experienced professional with:
- Experience managing UK retailers, preferably in the food industry
- A track record of winning new business and hands-on account management
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in IT and spreadsheet applications
Location:
Surrey - 4 days office / 1 day home
