An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Key Account Manager (On-Trade) to join a highly respected drinks business with a portfolio of world-renowned brands across whisky, spirits, wines, ports and liqueurs.
This company is part of a larger international group with strong heritage and ambitious growth plans across the UK on-trade sector.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced account manager looking to take ownership of key relationships in a dynamic and fast-moving market.
The Role
You'll be responsible for driving commercial performance across a portfolio of strategic accounts in the North West region. This is a field-based role requiring strong relationship management, commercial acumen and a consultative approach to selling.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of key on-trade accounts across the North West, including national chains, regional groups and independent operators
  • Build and execute joint business plans that deliver volume, distribution and brand visibility objectives
  • Drive listing opportunities and range reviews across the portfolio of premium spirits and wines
  • Monitor performance against targets and provide accurate forecasting and reporting
  • Identify new business opportunities and support the activation of brand campaigns in the on-trade channel
The Ideal Candidate
You will have a proven track record in drinks, FMCG or hospitality sales, with strong experience in the on-trade channel.
You'll be commercially minded, relationship-focused and comfortable operating independently across a regional territory.
Experience managing national or regional pub, bar or restaurant groups is highly desirable, as is a strong understanding of the UK drinks market and be confident presenting to senior stakeholders, skilled in negotiation and capable of influencing at all levels.
