Category Lead - FMCG Drinks
A leading spirits and wine company in the UK is seeking a Senior Category Manager to lead their Off-Trade & eCommerce team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a premium portfolio of globally recognised brands in the alcoholic drinks space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth for spirits categories across Grocery and eCommerce channels
- Create and execute a three-year category vision to transform customer businesses
- Curate product mix, plan placement, and influence visual merchandising to enhance customer experience and drive sales
- Develop compelling sell-in stories for innovation to gain distribution across the trade
- Analyse customer performance against key metrics and identify areas for improvement
- Work with senior stakeholders to build collaborative joint business plans
- Become the leading and influential whisky category partner for key customers
The Ideal Candidate:
We're looking for a visionary thinker with strong business acumen and a drive for results. You should have:
- Proven experience in category management within FMCG, ideally in the spirits sector
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in developing and executing strategic plans
- A track record of building strong relationships with key stakeholders
- An innovative mindset and the ability to think outside the box
Location:
Central London (4 days per week in office, 1 day working from home)
Package:
Up to £65,000 with a range of premium benefits, including performance-based bonuses and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
