Category Insights Executive - FMCG Food
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Category Insights Executive to join a leading food business. This employee-owned company supplies major UK retailers and foodservice customers with both own-label and branded offerings.
The Role
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for providing detailed, account-specific category insights and quality market analysis. Your role will be crucial in supporting sales growth and informing strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging, data-driven presentations for current and prospective customers
- Provide recommendations on category development based on market trends
- Create and maintain regular market and competitor analysis reports
- Support the sales team with in-depth customer presentations
- Establish strong relationships with customers and data providers
The Ideal Candidate:
We're seeking an analytical and proactive individual with:
- Experience in data annd insights preferably in the food industry
- Experience with Circana, NielsenIQ, or Kantar data platforms (preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

Surrey - 4 days office / 1 day home
Package:
£40,000 + Bonus + Benefits
