Category Analyst - FMCG Food

The Role

• Manage all internal category reporting, becoming the go-to expert for market data analysis
• Develop proficiency in using various data sources to respond to business requests accurately and promptly
• Take ownership of recurring reports on monthly and quarterly time frames
• Monitor industry trends and share insights with the wider business
• Support analysis of brand marketing activities and contribute to annual brand planning
• Assist sales and commercial functions in preparing customer-facing requirements

The Ideal Candidate
We're seeking a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and at least one year of experience in a similar environment. The successful candidate will have:

• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
• High level of numeracy and an analytical mind
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively
• A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline (desirable)
• Working knowledge of market data providers such as Circana, Nielsen, Kantar, and Dunnhumby (desirable but not essential)

Location: Hampshire (hybrid working model: 3 days in office / 2 days remote)

Package: £30,000 + Bonus + Benefits
