The Role
As the (Senior) National Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and maintaining strong relationships with key Discounter Retail accounts. This position offers an exciting blend of strategic planning and hands-on account management in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and market share growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders in national Discounter accounts
- Lead negotiations on trading terms, promotional activities, and new product listings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of commercial initiatives
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, providing insights to senior management
The Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking a results-driven professional with a proven track record in FMCG national account management. The successful candidate will possess:
- Significant experience in managing major retail accounts in the UK FMCG sector
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
