(Senior) Category Manager - Global FMCG Business
An opportunity for an ambitious Category Manager to join a leading global FMCG business, to drive growth across key strategic channels and customers in the UK.
A newly created role in a high performing, close-knit category & shopper marketing team, the focus will be on unlocking growth opportunities and developing existing relationships with key retailers with an omnichannel view.
The Role:
- Lead the strategic priorities for Category Development across strategic channels & customers
- Analyse category performance, identifying key dynamics and shopper behaviour to drive growth
- Develop assortment and placement recommendations for key retailers
- Optimise the digital shelf across all categories and retailers
- Build relationships with retailers, positioning the company as a trusted category partner
- Collaborate with internal teams and data vendors to obtain relevant insights and reporting
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience in category management within a branded FMCG environment. You should have a strong understanding of category management principals, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to craft compelling category stories. Strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and impactful presentation skills are essential.
Location:
Hertfordshire - 2-3 days/week
Package:
£60,000-£70,000 + Bonus + Benefits
