The Brief
Tata Consumer Products were looking to appoint a Global Senior Insights Manager to join their international innovation team, based in the UK. This was a pivotal role responsible for leading end-to-end consumer understanding and foresight across key international markets, with a particular focus on hot beverages and ethnic food categories.
The position required an experienced Senior Insights Manager with a strong track record in shaping innovation pipelines—supporting ideation, validating concepts, and driving in-market success through actionable insights. The successful candidate needed to be highly proficient across qualitative and quantitative methodologies, with the ability to leverage emerging AI tools, social listening, and market intelligence platforms to uncover forward-looking opportunities.
Beyond technical expertise, the role demanded a strategic influencer—someone capable of partnering closely with Marketing, R&D, and Commercial teams, embedding consumer-centric thinking, and translating complex data into compelling narratives that drive business decisions.
