Pernod Ricard embarked on a period of high growth which saw opportunities for promotion and newly created roles within the category team, and a consequent need for new category talent to join the business.
Allexo approached Pernod Ricard in the knowledge that they were looking to build and develop their category team, having recently completed full market searches for similar roles for two other clients in the drinks space.
Following a briefing call to understand the current situation and requirements, Allexo worked quickly to source and introduce candidates from within our network to the business.
Knowledge and a passion for the drinks industry were highly desirable criteria, with a key focus on finding individuals with strong insights experience - and a lesser focus on previous customer category management experience for these particular hires.
With a turnaround of 48hrs from brief to introduction, four 1st stage interviews were quickly arranged, with two candidates being offered and accepting roles – one joining from Kantar, and the other from Dunnhumby, both with extensive knowledge of the drinks industry.
