The Brief
JDE Peet’s were looking to appoint a National Account Controller to lead the Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, and Amazon accounts — a strategically important leadership role responsible for delivering significant revenue and profit targets while shaping long-term joint business plans.
The position required a commercially astute leader with strong grocery and omnichannel experience, capable of managing complex negotiations, navigating pricing and trade investment, and driving performance across forecast, sales, profit, and engagement. Beyond account delivery, the role carried responsibility for leading and developing a customer team, influencing cross-functional stakeholders, and strengthening JDE’s presence within key retail partners.
