The Brief
Henkel were looking to appoint an eCommerce Category Manager to lead category development strategy across the UK & Ireland online landscape. The role sat at the intersection of shopper insight, digital execution, and commercial strategy, with responsibility for analysing performance trends, identifying growth drivers, and shaping recommendations across assortment, placement, and digital shelf optimisation.
The position required a highly analytical category professional with strong FMCG grounding and experience within Pure Play and Omni-Channel environments. Beyond technical expertise, Henkel sought a confident stakeholder manager able to translate complex data into compelling stories, influence retailer thinking, and position Henkel as a trusted category partner.
