Bel - Head Of Category & Customer Strategy

The Bel Group is a major player in the food industry, specialising in dairy, fruit, and plant-based products, and is one of the world leaders in branded cheeses. Its portfolio includes internationally recognized brands such as The Laughing Cow®, Babybel®, Boursin®, Nurishh®, Kiri® and GoGo squeeZ®, contributing to a sales figure of €3.6 billion in 2022.

The Brief

Bel UK were looking for a new Head of Category & Commercial Strategy — someone who could lead strategy, strengthen retailer relationships, and unlock category & commercial growth for their UK portfolio.

A senior leadership role within the sales team adopting a strategic position to drive the growth in Category, Trade Marketing and Bel Business Planning, and a key player in external engagement on Bel UK’s two growth platforms across the grocery channel for UK and Ireland. Additionally, the role has responsibility for the management and development of 2 direct reports (Category & Trade Marketing Managers).
