A Global FMCG Manufacturer with exceptional brands and products are searching for a talented and highly ambitious Senior Shopper and Retailer Insights Manager to join the UK business.
Your role will form part of the Category Development function of the business and the use of shopper insights has been significant to the team's success of 2017 and becoming category captains for a number of grocery and high street retailers.
Key responsibilities include;
- Provide high impact strategic insights into the business. Both macro total business and category / retailer specific insights. The role will manage a range of broad and specific insight briefs to ensure that all research is delivered
- Provide the top 6 retail customers clear insights that provide recommendations to deliver category growth
- Understand health of brands, category and retailer performance
- Ensure the Category Team and overall business are using the best and most up to date data and insights to drive the business forward
The ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong track record in FMCG insights or category management. Strong knowledge of syndicated data (eg Nielsen / IRI / Kantar WorldPanel / Dunnhumby) will be essential and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels both internally and externally. Candidates from both manufacturers and agencies will be considered.
