A commercially savvy and ambitious National Account Executive is needed to manage the UK's largest grocery retailer for a globally recognised Food and Drink manufacturer. The business is a market leader in one the fastest growing FMCG categories in the UK.
As a National Account Executive you will be a part of the Tesco account team, supporting on the grocery channel, along with full responsibility for the P&L and relationship for One Stop. You will also lead the account promotion evaluation process and provide recommendations to maximise sales and gross profit.
Other key responsibilities:
- Leading Field Sales Execution and Customer EPOS performance
- Supervising Customer and Channel development projects
- Working closely with the National Account Manager on tracking customer performance through insight data (eg AIMIA)
- Supporting customer account processes, such as submissions, NPD and pricing checks, as well as helping the shopper activation team to drive best practices for the customer
The ideal candidate will be degree educated and commercially aware with excellent organisational skills. Moreover, you will be a team player with the ability to influence others. Strong presentation and communication skills are essential for this role. This position offers an excellent base from which to progress to a NAM role, or into either Category Development or Revenue Planning.
