Our client is a leading UK fresh food manufacturer operating in a category that is growing and evolving and where there is an abundance of opportunity. Over the past year the business has become Category Management led and the business requires a passionate individual who can work closely with category & market insight to generate actionable insight, to be used in turn to create compelling category stories to maximise their presence in-store.
The focus is on delivering best-in-class innovation into the fresh food category, both branded and own-label, and the Category team play a key role from concept generation through to getting the products onto the shelves in-store.
You will provide insight and analysis using data from various sources to provide recommendations that will optimise the category performance.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Strong relationship building skills with internal and external stake holders eg customer and supplier contacts.
- The ability to segment analysis by customer, brand, category, channel to understand and drive category performance
- Experience in working with continuous (eg Kantar, Dunnhumby) or adhoc market and consumer data.
- Experience of working with quantitative and qualitative data sources
