Are you a results-driven professional with a proven track record of managing and leading major retail accounts? Do you thrive on identifying new opportunities, fostering long-term client relationships, and delivering exceptional results?

Our client, an award-winning, employee-owned FMCG business, is seeking an ambitious Senior National Account Manager or Account Controller to take the lead in managing key retail partnerships while driving growth across new and existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility for a major retail account with autonomy to make impactful decisions.
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities and expanding product lines.
  • Building robust relationships with customer contacts across Sales, Supply Chain, Technical, Product Development, and Merchandising.
  • Collaborating with internal Procurement teams to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Proactively managing customer stock levels alongside Supply Chain colleagues.
  • Delivering industry-leading presentations in partnership with Marketing and Category Insights teams.
  • Reporting on sales performance and contract balances to maintain transparency.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: A strong FMCG or food industry background, with at least 3 years managing UK retailer accounts. Own Label experience is advantageous.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organisational abilities. Confidence in data analysis and reporting, with advanced spreadsheet proficiency.
  • Attributes: Competitive, tenacious, and driven to succeed with a proactive and dynamic approach.

Location: Surrey (need to be based within 1 hour of office)
