A tier 1 FMCG business with globally recognised brands is searching for a talented and highly ambitious Senior Commercial Strategy Manager to join the UK business.
This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished NAM/SNAM or Buyer to broaden their experience in a highly strategic commercial role, and gain valuable exposure across different functions of a bluechip FMCG business.
You will be responsible for driving the commercial strategy agenda (namely 4 P's) for a key brand portfolio across channels. This is a strategic position and plays a key role within the commercial function advising National Account Managers on how to execute effectively with their customers.
Key skills and experience:
- A strong track record in a FMCG commercial (eg. NAM/SNAM, Trade Marketing or Commercial Strategy) or Grocery buying role, with UK marketplace experience
- Strong P&L experience, ideally with experience working across multiple channels/retailers
- Ability to analyse large volumes of complex information, interpret & construct straightforward plans, communicating and influencing at all levels internally and externally
- Ability to work in a matrix structure with various functions, eg Brand, Sales, Category, Finance and Supply Chain
The next step internally will be into either a Sales, Category or Commercial Strategy leadership role.
