Senior Category Manager - FMCG Personal Care

We're seeking a Senior Category Manager to join a thriving UK commercial operation and make a lasting impact. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives on turning insights into action, driving transformational growth, and delivering retail excellence.
As Senior Category Manager, you'll:
- Lead the Category Agenda: Develop insights-driven strategies across key channels and customers, leveraging consumer and shopper data to create impactful retail solutions.
- Collaborate with Sales Teams: Work closely with account managers to craft data-backed selling stories and capitalise on category growth opportunities.
- Oversee Data and Reporting: Manage external agency relationships (e.g. Circana) and provide actionable insights, reports, and category performance scorecards.
- Drive Execution: Plan and implement go-to-market strategies, ensuring seamless execution of NPD launches and promotional activities.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven expertise in Category Management within FMCG or an Insight Agency.
- Strong knowledge of consumer/shopper data tools (IRI, Circana, Kantar) and retail EPOS.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset paired with strategic thinking and excellent communication skills.
