Media Partnership Director (FMCG/Retail)

Do you have strong commercial experience within the FMCG/retail space?

Are you looking to broaden your experience beyond another account management, trade marketing or buying role?

Our client is currently looking to hire a Media Partnerships Director to join their senior management team, reporting directly into the Managing Director.

The business is an entrepreneurial shopper marketing agency who have grown to 100+ headcount in the last 10 years, currently work with most of the UK grocery retailers and have led campaigns for a high majority of FMCG brands in the UK.

The focus of the role will be to develop strategic relationships with key UK retailers (Tesco, Sainsbury's, Waitrose etc) and media owners, negotiating and leading on joint business plans to ensure the business is able to secure the best media rates for their FMCG clients (Coca-Cola, Danone, L'Oréal etc).

They are looking for someone with a commercial, who ideally has experience negotiating media space with the top 6 grocery retailers in the UK - likely to have experience as either a FMCG NAM/SNAM role, a grocery retail buyer or a commercial role within a media owner.

Line management would also be beneficial, as this will be managing a team of 6 (direct & indirect).
