Insight Manager

Do you have a keen interest in the Retail, pub, restaurants, café UK market?

Are you numerically inquisitive and like building stories around numbers and figures?

A specialist insights consultancy dedicated to the UK Retail and Foodservice industry is looking for an Insight Manager to join their team based in Central London.

They are leaders within their field, providing a breadth of research and insight solutions to the full spectrum of the industry, from High Street retailers, Michelin star restaurant groups to fast food restaurants, coffee chains and bars, pubs and clubs.

You will have a keen interest in shopper and consumer behaviour and be primarily be responsible for putting together insight content from their syndicated research projects and monthly trackers. There will also be the opportunity to work with other teams and be involved with bespoke research, consulting and smaller projects on an ad-hoc basis.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Analyse shopper and consumer data and build insight content in a suite of different reports, presentations and other ad-hoc client requests
  • Produce monthly and quarterly insight reports
  • Act as a thought leader and provide key trends in the market, delivering these face-to-face to clients, both on an ad-hoc basis and at our quarterly debrief events
  • Reporting to the Senior Insights Manager you will help to identify and action improvements to the insight content being provided

To be considered for this role, you will need to have experience in an insight role either on the agency or client side with exposure to the retail, FMCG or foodservice sector.

You will have a solid understanding of survey panel data and research methodologies in consumer or shopper marketing.

Most importantly, you will be hugely passionate about retail or the eating out sector!
