Impulse Category Lead - FMCG Food

A leading FMCG Food business with some of the UK's best known snacking brands is currently searching for a Category Lead for their impulse channels. A key role in the business you'll be responsible for creating the direction for all impulse channel customers, setting the strategy, and driving the short / long term growth.

You'll be managing a team of 2 Category Managers and customers will include all Food Service, Convenience, RTM and Symbols.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Impulse commercial agenda internally and influencing commercial planning and thinking for these this important channel

• Develop and deliver the Category Vision for the impulse channel. Implementing category recommendations and solutions to benefit the business and customers.

• Lead and develop the impulse category team. Managing and coaching 2 Category Managers and supporting their customer engagement

• Internally work closely with senior commercial stakeholders and the Head of Category Management to champion Category based selling and unlock opportunities with impulse retailers
