A high-growth global FMCG business is looking to appoint a Commercial Partnership Director to attract, onboard and managed Partner Brands in Ireland.

The business is on a trajectory following a change in ownership in 2021, and are already working in partnership with some of biggest brands and FMCG businesses globally, including Danone, General Mills & Lavazza.

In the Irish market they represent higher sales than the likes of Unilever and Mondelez, and with over 60% of their business comes from their licensing partnerships, this continues to be a strategic priority as they look to drive growth across all categories, including food & drinks, alcohol, personal care and OTC.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer and working closely with the Managing Director, this role will be fundamental to achieving their ambitious growth plans in the coming years.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with the Business Development Director to target and attract key brands into the business, and complete contractual discussions

  • Negotiate pricing on a product portfolio

  • Development of Customer Joint Business Plans (JBPs) for brand partner brands and facilitate the cascading of Key actions to Customer Business Managers

  • Ensure that partner brands get strong representation across customers and play a full part in overall category initiatives

  • Line management of the partner brand executive team (4-8 people)

Key skills & experience:

  • Commercial leadership experience within a branded FMCG business – private label experience advantageous

  • Extremely strong relationship management skills and an ability to manage multiple relationships

  • In-depth knowledge of the partner brand environment and Irish ambient grocery playing field

  • Team leadership experience with a keen interest in developing & motivating a high performing sales team
