Category Manager, Tesco - 12 Month FTC

A leading global FMCG business with some of the UK's best known foods brands is currently searching for a Category Development Manager on an initial 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

This is a key role in their category team where you'll be responsible for the strategy and key category partnership with Tesco.

​

This is a customer facing role and you will be providing the sales and marketing teams with regular insights on opportunities within the market.

​

Key Responsibilities will include

• Building and sustaining key retail relationships

• Using insight to influence merchandising and range plans at category reviews

• Provide detailed analysis and insights on category opportunities

• influence key internal and external stakeholders

​

The ideal candidate will have gained category insight/management experience within a recognised FMCG manufacturer or insights agency, and will be ambitious enough to take the next step in their career by joining a progressive FMCG company at Category Manager level.

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + £5.5k Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits

Based: Hertfordshire. Hybrid working available with 1-2 days a week in the office
