This is an opportunity to work with an international food business and become the category and shopper insight champion both internally and across all channels externally.
The business requires a commercially savvy FMCG Category Manager with top 4 grocery experience who will generate actionable insight, to be used in turn to create compelling category stories to maximise their presence in-store with their customers.
The business is growing and performing strongly. As Category Manager you will play a key role in providing recommendations using data from various sources that will optimise the category performance and build on the continued success of the company.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Strong relationship building skills with internal and external stake holders eg retail customer and supplier contacts.
- The ability to segment analysis by customer, brand, category, channel to understand and drive category performance
- Experience in working with continuous (eg Kantar, Dunnhumby) or adhoc market and consumer data
- Experience of working with quantitative data sources
The role will typically be office based 3 days / home based 2 days a week and is well served by National Rail transport links and onsite parking for those who drive.
Salary: up to £45,000 + Bonus + Benefits
