Our client are a leading FMCG food business working in a exciting category which is evolving and where there is an abundance of opportunity for innovation. In order to capitalise on this opportunity the business requires a passionate foodie who can work closely with category & market insight to generate actionable insight, to be used in turn to create compelling category stories to maximise their presence in-store.
The Category Team play a key role using insight and data, to develop concept generation through to getting the products onto the shelves in-store.
You will provide insight and analysis using data from various sources to provide recommendations to optimise the category performance and building lasting relationships with retail customers.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Strong relationship building skills with internal and external stake holders eg customer and supplier contacts
- The ability to segment analysis by customer, brand, category, channel to understand and drive category performance
- Experience in working with continuous (eg Kantar, Dunnhumby) or adhoc market and consumer data
- Experience of working with quantitative and qualitative data sources
Location: Yorkshire with plenty of flexibility to work from home
