If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a premium FMCG food business as a Category Insight Manager!

As Category Insight Manager, you will play a pivotal role in analysing market trends, consumer behaviour, and industry insights to provide valuable recommendations and strategies to drive business growth. Your primary responsibility will be to harness data from multiple sources to unlock key insights that will shape our product development, marketing, and sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of market data, consumer trends, and competitor performance to identify opportunities and threats within the FMCG food sector.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to develop category strategies and promotional plans.

  • Utilise various research methods and data analytics tools to gather, interpret, and present data in a meaningful and actionable format.

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of product lines and promotions, making recommendations for optimisation and improvement.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends to ensure a competitive edge in the market.

  • Work closely with retail partners to share insights and collaborate on category growth initiatives.

  • Act as a category expert, providing guidance and support to internal teams and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have gained category insight/management experience within a recognised FMCG manufacturer or leading Insight Agency (eg IRI, Kantar, Nielsen or Dunnhumby) and will be ambitious enough to take the next step in their career by joining a progressive FMCG company.

Location: Berkshire

Package: £50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits
