One of the UK's leading FMCG Shopper Marketing and Insight agencies are currently searching for a Business Development Manager to take a lead role, seeking new clients and partnerships between FMCG brands and the agency.
Since their inception, the business has won many awards, partnering with major FMCG & consumer brands to deliver effective cross-retail, multi touchpoint marketing plans inside the UK's leading retailers. This role will play an important role in helping the business during the next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities will include;
- Define the business development process. Leading the generation of new clients, new business materials, commercial best practice
- The ability to build strong relationships with relevant prospects (FMCG manufacturers)
- Line management of one direct report (Executive level)
- Work closely with the Client Management Team to successfully transition new clients into developed long term partners
The ideal candidate will be an experienced manager with previous experience leading and coaching teams with direct reports. You need to be a driven individual with a hunger and passion to develop business. An understanding of the FMCG sector is essential as is the ability to be comfortable negotiating with multiple stakeholders at all levels and provide excellent client service.
