I landed in the UK in 2012 from Italy. After a few years, I decided to get a degree in Business from Birkbeck University of London, which allowed me to have a full-time job while studying. I developed admin experience working for a large IT consultancy where I also gained exposure to and discovered my interest in marketing.
What is your area of specialism?
At Allexo Search I hold responsibility for all marketing activity and operations. I provide support and data for the front-line team, as well as making sure that we have the best digital marketing strategy to attract talent and provide the best experience to our clients and candidates, and ensuring our branding is consistent across all channels. However, no day is the same at Allexo!
During University I took a significant number of modules in strategy, which is my main passion. I’ve joined Allexo Search in the early stages of the rebrand hence I could apply my strategic skills to help the business through its reassessment/development phase.
How is life at Allexo?
Life at Allexo is busy and exciting. I’m free to let my creativity go and challenge myself. Because of its entrepreneurial core, Allexo Search offers a really good opportunity for young professionals to take responsibilities, explore and test skills. You really have the opportunity to make a difference.
It’s a fun environment, with a good life-work balance and rewarding hard work.
Best moment in marketing?
In my list of top best moments, I would put the launch of the new brand including the revision and development of a new strategy that we created through a deep analysis of candidates, clients and employees’ journeys. Overall, it’s rewarding to see the change happening and participating in it.
Any advice for a new starter?
Recruitment isn’t my core focus, but to thrive here at Allexo, my advice would be to be proactive, learn from your daily experiences and give back with fresh new ideas.
